As part of the OpenNyai mission, participants are invited to work collaboratively in creating Open Legal AI for India. Open innovation is building with all in a transparent and collaborative manner. Closed innovation stifles AI innovation as it reduces access to new knowledge, technology, and data from many to a few. This reduces the number of people who can take advantage of AI and solve problems that affect many. OpenNyai mission stands at developing open source software and datasets to catalyze the creation of AI-powered solutions to improve access to justice in India.
