Job Role: Wed Designer

PQE: 2+ years

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating original, user-centered web pages based on a clear understanding of our business requirements.
Translating the marketing team’s requirements into comprehensive style guides, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces
Designing attractive and interactable UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components
Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems and providing solutions on how to address them (e.g., responsiveness, bounce rate)
Collaborating effectively with all teams to ensure web development proceeds at an optimal pace
Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into web design in order to enhance user experience
Make the site’s content SEO-friendly in collaboration with our SEO and editorial teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in web design, multimedia design, or related field
2+ years of experience in planning and developing websites across multiple products and organizations
Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, and web user interface design (UI)
Proficiency with our content management system i.e., WordPress and well-versed with Google Analytics
Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem solving
A friendly and responsive attitude, with good communication and teamwork skills.
