Job Description:

  • This position is responsible for managing copyediting of content (assessments), quality control, and
  • maintaining high standards of the language correctness.
  • It includes, but limited to, correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and word usage, and easy
  • to understand English language with focus on clarity, consistency and comprehension.
  • Responsibilities include liaising with the freelance copyeditors and vendors, quality check and
  • ensuring that the content is as per the syllabus, and managing schedules as per the plan.

Work Experience and; Skills/Domain Knowledge:

• 4 to 7 years of experience in content development and managing copyediting.

• Proficiency in the English language

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform extensive research and syllabi analysis to gauge the written language need (syntax

and word usage) of the target users of the content.

• Copyediting of content for language correctness and appropriate word usage for different

grades.

• Ensure high standards of language correctness through uniformity.

• Interact and train freelance editors and vendors to deliver copyedited and error-free content.

• Review and adhere to strict quality control before finalizing the content.

• Coordinate with all stakeholders involved (freelancers, authors, vendors and the

management team).

• Enlist, develop, and supervise a dependable pool of quality freelance copyeditors.

• Meet the deadline.

• Plan, organize, monitor the progress and generate report of projects.

• Resolve editorial queries.

Educational Qualification:

• Preferably a post-graduate or a good degree CA/LLB/CS/M.A english
