Job Role: Senior Specialist- Global People Operations

Location: Remote

PQE: 7 years

Responsibilities & Qualifications Specifically, the Senior Specialist will :

  • Prepare and maintain the SOPs for People Operations processes in the US.
  • Input and track the status of all employee queries using the in-house ticket management system.
  • Draft custom employment agreements and get them signed by all relevant parties.
  • Work with third-party vendors to complete background checks for all new employees.
  • Create and maintain employee records on all Elevate’s systems.
  • Offboard outgoing employees from all Elevate’s systems, and work with local facilities to collect all hardware issued to them.
  • Provide timely and accurate resolutions to employee queries and grievances by working with individuals and departments across the company as needed.
  • Manage the US work visa process with Senior Manager, People Operations. Collaborate with external immigration attorneys and consultants to research US immigration inquiries, understand risk, and maintain compliance standards. Serve as a go-between for outside counsel and internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and communicate immigration filing strategies for individual cases.
  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrolments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
  • Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in the payroll system for payroll deduction.
  • Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers.
  • Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
  • Ensure regular audits of the background check reports, offer letters, addendums, and all employment records are being done regularly.
  • Work with external payroll and benefits providers to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of HR experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, Adobe Pro, etc.

Skills For Success

  • Previous experience working with compliance rules and regulations.
  • Decent communication and client service skills.
  • Substantial people management experience.
  • Familiarity with corporate environments especially within financial services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • MBA in HR, a plus
