Job Role: QA Automation Lead- Product Engineering
Location: Bengaluru
PQE: 4+ years
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor QA automation team that develops QA automation using Selenium & Java.
- Devise procedures to inspect and report quality assurance issues.
- Develop test matrix, define scope and document testing plans.
- Implement Process and Strategy Management for testing during and after feature release.
- Define quality confidence levels and deliver regular reporting.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Review and manage test case writing.
- Coordinate testing activities performed by the team.
- Supervise and guide other staff to learn testing procedures and ensure consistency across team members.
- Maintain detailed testing and quality records and relevant documentation.
- Editing and upkeep of test suites.
- Develop deep technical and market-based expertise on our core and future products.
- Review any new functional requirements and prepare testing plans and scope.
- Defining regression testing scope.
- Execute testing plans and provide feedback to ensure successful product delivery.
Qualifications
- 4+ yrs. of experience in designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java
- Experience in load runner will be a plus.
- BS degree in Computer Science, or Math or Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role.
- Experience leading a team and managing test plans and execution.
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
- Exposure to different testing patterns, frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
- Experience in an agile software development environment, with rapid feedback loops and quick release cycles.
- Persistent and Proactive.
- Curiosity and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and relational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a results driven approach.
- Insatiable desire to improve skills and knowledge of self and others.
- Experience with JIRA and Zephyr.
- Experience developing and testing on multitier and SAAS platforms is a plus.
- MS SQL Server is a plus.
